Most people don’t walk into CSG West looking for a “designer.” They walk in because the kitchen is wrong, the floors are tired, or the new-build selections are due and nobody has lined the materials up yet.

What they usually want is simpler than a mood board: something that looks like their house, holds up to how they live, and doesn’t require three vendors and a consultation invoice to get there.

That’s the job here. Floors. Countertops. Tile. One showroom in Weatherford. One conversation about how it all works together.

Parker County one-stop shop — floors, counters, tile, and the slab yard in one place.

The short version

We’re a one-stop shop. You can choose hardwood or LVP, quartz or granite, and the tile that ties it together without driving all over North Texas.

Design help is free. No consultation fee for color and layout opinions while you’re selecting with us. You’re already buying the materials and the install. The matching part is part of the work.

Function first, then the look. Pretty that fails in a mudroom isnt a win. We’ll tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly of each product against your lifestyle — pets, kids, cooking, rental, forever house — and still help you land a look you’ll like living with.

Why “one-stop” actually matters on a real job

That shows up hard in the custom builds going in between Weatherford, Parker County, and Fort Worth — places like Bear Creek Ranch, Bluejack Ranch, and Rancho Ladera. Big selections. Tight timelines. A house that needs floors, counters, and tile to agree before anyone pours money into the wrong sample.

New construction and full remodels eat people alive when the flooring guy, the countertop fabricator, and the tile setter aren’t looking at the same house.

Samples don’t match under the same light. The edge profile fights the cabinet. The floor is warmer than the slab on the wall. Somebody ordered before somebody else measured. You’re the project manager by accident.

Here, the materials sit in the same building. We talk through the whole surface package — floors, counters, backsplash, bath tile — so the house reads as one decision, not three invoices taped together.

Same conversation across Parker County and into west Fort Worth and Tarrant when we’re on your job. The showroom is in Weatherford. The selections happen where you can see slab next to plank next to tile.

Function over form (on purpose)

I’m biased toward what survives the house you actually have.

If you cook hard, I won’t talk you into a counter that stains if you blink. If you’ve got dogs and a back door that never stays clean, I won’t romanticize a floor that hates water and grit. If the HVAC isn’t reliable, we talk tile — including wood-look — instead of pretending vinyl or hardwood will forgive it.

That doesn’t mean the house has to look utilitarian. It means we pick the product that fits the life, then dial in the color and finish so it still feels like your place.

Bringing your vision in — not mine

I’ve been in flooring and countertops long enough to know most “design” fights are really taste fights. Contemporary. Traditional. White and gray. Cream and brown. A pop of color. I’ve done all of it.

The useful skill isn’t having a signature look. Its hearing what you already like — the cabinet sample in your hand, the Pinterest save, the neighbor’s kitchen you half-liked and building a combination that holds together under real light in the showroom.

I’ll give you a clear opinion. I wont run a private agenda over your house. If you want quiet and timeless, we go there. If you want contrast and a statement slab, we go there. Your input leads. My job is to make it coherent and honest about what each material will do after install day.

Designers aren’t the enemy. The fee and the silo are the problem.

A lot of designers do good work. Plenty of homeowners need a full-service design firm.

What I push back on is the default path where you pay for a consultation, get steered hard toward one aesthetic, then still have to source flooring, stone, and tile from three places that never sat in the same room.

At CSG West, color and combination help on the materials you’re buying from us doesn’t come with a design-retainer line item. You’re paying for product and install. Getting those surfaces to agree is part of how we sell and install them.

What a visit usually looks like

Bring what’s in your head — photos, cabinet doors, a paint chip, the dog, the truth about how messy the kitchen gets. We’ll walk floors, slabs, and tile in one trip. We’ll say what holds up and what fights your lifestyle. We’ll build a package you can actually execute: measure, fabricate, install, walkthrough.

New build or remodel. One stop. Straight talk.
